A year ago, a couple night ago.

So a year ago on May 27th, I went into labor with Hailey and what's crazy is that night was a pretty quiet night until I went into labor and now a year later it's practically the same thing my night had turned into a crazy night again. Since Jake had the work the graveyard shift tonight my plan was to call him around 8:30-9 and be all like "a year ago, this time we were rushing to the hospital." Well instead of me calling him, he called me at 9. So there I am sitting in class minding my own business and he calls and say his car broke down on I-80 and he needs a ride. Well first I was like, sure I'll come pick you up. I get out to my car and no gas! He switched cars on me and failed to tell me that little bit of information. So I'm freaking out because his cellphone is dying, he's stuck out in only god knows where on I-80, he barely has signal to call anyone, all the money is in his account and I haven't gotten a card for it yet and Hailey's babysitter is calling because I was supposed to pick her (which I had no idea she was at the babysitters, I thought she was with my aunt). So all I can think of is what a predicament I'm in. So I go pick up Hailey, with no money to pay the babysitter, I get there and she's only in a diaper and apparently that all she came in? I thank god for my aunt who lent me the money to drive out to Rowley (about 20 mins from Wendover) pick up Jake at 10 p.m. follow the tow truck driver to make sure he takes the car to the right place, the drive to the babysitters to finally pay her around 11:45pm (appearenly she really needed the money because that's all she could call me about the whole drive out to Rowley.) Grab a quick bite around midnight because of course, I didn't grab anything to eat before going to class because I was planning on coming straight home to eat. Then finally have Jake drop me off at home for him to rush back out to work at 12:30am. All I can say is what a night! Hailey and I finally got to bed around 2am because she for some reason was extremely wired and thought it was time to play. So when Jake called me to let me know he made it back to work safe, we just had to joke that he called right around the time I got my epidural and everything started to calm down right around that time a year ago. Crazy funny! And of course all slept for the majority of all of that!
